1 God promised for sure
Showers of grace sending;
He gives us strength,
And rich matchless blessings

Showers of grace,
Rains asked, Lord;
Send us constant rains,
Comforter rains

2 Christ has given us
Holy Comforter,
Full peace in filled,
To the reign of love.

3 Give us, Lord, broadly,
Your great pleasure and power;
Permamente source of love,
Puts within our being,

4 Do your pious servants
Give them virtue and value,
Giving your precious gifts,
The holy Preceptor
